Who We Are

Association of Tamil Canadian Community

The Association of Tamil Canadian Community (ATCC) is a nonprofit, volunteer-led organization established to unite and empower the Tamil diaspora across Canada. Since our inception, we have grown into a vibrant network connecting over 5,000 Tamil Canadians with 140+ dedicated volunteers across 13 specialized teams.

Our work spans multiple critical areas including cultural preservation, newcomer settlement support, career development, legal advocacy, emergency response, and community outreach. Through partnerships with organizations like Yuvan Live and various cultural ambassadors, we have organized major events and concerts that celebrate our heritage while fostering integration into Canadian society.

To build a connected, empowered Tamil community in Canada by promoting culture, creating opportunities, and supporting one another through meaningful events, partnerships, and volunteerism.

Our Story

From 10 Volunteers to a Nationwide Movement

ATCC began as a small team of 10 volunteers passionate about uniting Tamils under one umbrella. Founded on May 16, 2023, by Rizwana and Paveen, with the help of a dedicated group of like-minded individuals, what started as a simple idea has transformed into a recognized grassroots movement.
